I just love the Diddleum - lived up there for a few years, and have a property on the St. Pat's - those little feeder streams are great, although I find the river itself is pretty hard to bypass, and have fished pretty much all of it between the old "Gunn's Mill" area, and Targa.

Never found snakes a problem - but I like seeing them, and I also tend to move pretty noisily in "snakey" areas.

The streams around the Blue Tier are similarly productive, I have found - of similar granitic structure - although more highly mineralised than the Diddleum granites.
