We have some great news to announce: the 4 May 2013 will see the opening of the Australian Fly Fishing Museum, at Clarendon Estate, Nile, Tasmania. Clarendon House (owned and operated by the National Trust) is situated on the banks of the South Esk River, opposite Symmons Plains. Symonns Plains of course was the home of James Youl, the man responsible for bringing brown trout to Tasmania, so the location for the museum couldn’t be better!
