FlyFest 2015 – May 8th and 9th.
For the second year running, Daniel and Simone Hackett of RiverFly 1864 will be hosting FlyFest. This year’s weekend, again based out of Launceston, includes the IF4 International Fly Fishing Film festival, hosted by April Vokey, along with a fibreglass rod building day with Epic Fly Rod designer and Master Casting Instructor Carl McNeil. A free casting session will be held at Josef Chromy Winery where the general public can come and try the newest rods from Sage, Scott, Orvis and Epic, and join in a glass-rod casting demonstration by Carl McNeil.
What: IF4 Fly fishing film festival with April Vokey. When: Friday May the 8th, starting at 6.30pm.
