The fly fishing on our Tasmanian rivers is really cranking along. Fat fish are the rewards of a record wet spring, and the mayfly are out, the willow grubs are falling, and baby hoppers are getting twitchy. The next few weeks are going to be brilliant! Here’s a nearly 2lb trout on its way to the net, caught after three fly changes by Simone Hackett. It was a great piece of sight fishing!
