With the co-operation of local landowners, the Meander Council, and local resource management groups, the Inland Fisheries Service has been beevoring away to open new angler access points on the Meander River. The Meander is one of the best lowland mayfly rivers from Deloraine to Hadspen, whilst it represents one of our best fastwater streams from Deloraine to Huntsman. To help anglers wanting to access this great resource we’ve created a free Google Fly Fishing Map which can be viewed here. The map shows the new Angler Access Points and more.

Well done to all those involved in the project, in particular to the landowners who have improved the recreational and economic values of the river in their district.
