FlyShop 1864 – RiverFly Tasmania’s sister business

FlyShop 1864 is the sister business of RiverFly Tasmania, operated by Daniel and Simone Hackett. Our fly shop is a bit different than your everday webshop: many of the fly fishing flies that we sell are tied in Tasmania by RiverFly guides in our Tasmanian fly fishing shop. These are the actual flies that Daniel relies on and uses in his day to day guiding business.  

It’s a similar story with the books and prints – these are books that our business helped create, here in Tasmania. We are proud of this, and in fact, In Season Tasmania (co-authored and produced by Daniel Hackett) took out the 2008 Tasmanian Print Industry Platinum Award for best product.Click here to visit FlyShop 1864
